Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen :
On Tangier Desert Tour we will leave Tngier the white pigeon of Morocco, known for the calm atmosphere, purelY Moroccan with a European touch. We will leave towards Chefchaouen the Blue Pearl of Morocco, enjoying the view of Rif Mountains and small northern villages on our way. in Chefchaouen you would adore the traditional buildings of the city all in blue giving the most relaxing destination. We would visit the city’s historical places and market centre to have some incredible souvenirs. We would enjoy the art of handicraft and handmade art pieces as hand woven fabric that is well known in Chefchaouen. We will take a lunch break in one of the traditional restaurant to have their best local meal. We will spend the night in an amazing Hotel in between the narrow alleys, so you can relax and enjoy your evening gazing at the fascinating view your balcony’s room offers.
Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
The next part of Tangier Desert tour would be in another type of landscapes, we will leave Chefchaouen city towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis ,passing by marvellous landscapes and incredible green places. Volubilis is a main part of Morocco’s history , with many stories behind it, Volubilis is remaining parts of the Roman empire in the North of Africa, as soon as we explore the ruins of this Roman city. You will visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss, a place of pilgrimage of all Moroccans. We will continue towards Meknes city, we will stop for a lunch pause with delicious Moroccan dishes, then we can discover the historical walls that surround the Old Medina and the famous Bab El Mansour, Moulay Ismail Shrine …etc. We will finish today’s Tangier Desert Tour in Fes the old city.
Day 3 : Fes Guided Tour
The next morning of Tangier desert tours would be an exceptional one as we wander through the oldest city in Morocco. Then we are going to start our journey through the Old Medina’s narrow streets, where we would find the city’s most precious treasures from handicrafts to fabulous art pieces. We would be also exploring the ramparts of Fes, seeing the Tomb of the Merinids, visiting the 14th-century Bou Inania Medersa and the excellent museum with its collection of illuminated manuscripts and ceramics. You will have lunch in the Medina to taste the most delicious food in Fes. As soon as we discover the whole monuments of Fes, we would get back to our traditional Riad to have a tasty Tajine for dinner and spend a lovely evening.
Day 4 : Fes – Rabat – Casablanca
The next journey on Tangier Desert tour, we will drive towards Rabat the capital to see the mesmerizing Old Medina and its souks, we will also get to discover together Kasbah of Oaudaya that was established by Almoradives. We will be impressed by the unique monument Hassan Tower, an incomplete Mosque that gives the perfect example of the pure Moroccan architecture. After a comprehensive tour in Rabat, we will continue to the city that never goes to sleep to spend the night in a luxurious Hotel after an incredible famous Casablanca sea food dish.
Day 5 : Casablanca – Assilah – Tangier
On the last day journey of your Tangier desert tour, we will have an early tour in Casablanca visiting its wonderful historical site. We will start by visiting the Hassan II mosque, the largest mosque all over Africa, we will guide you through the old Medina and its busy shops, to eventually start driving towards Assilah, to leave the hustle of big cities and drive towards a destination of calm and relaxing atmosphere. Through our visit to Assilah, we would be wandering through the blue streets of the old Medina, and have a tempting traditional dish in a local restaurant with the most amazing view. We would be admiring many the sights and monuments such as the Portuguese fortress, and the art shops in the old Medina. At the end of our unforgettable Tangier Desert tour we would drive you back to Tangier where we will drop you off at your accommodation or the Airport with lots of memories and lifetime experiences.
